Casino decked out for Chinese New Year.I am sure these are famous manikins but I don't know who they are. The kids liked talking to them. They were hanging out in the casino lobby.
We couldn't pass up the opportunity to go to the Olympics since they were just a few hours up the road. No events were attended so I'm not sure we really went to the Olympics, but it worth the trip just to soak up the atmosphere. We parked at a fancy casino out near the airport where we could catch the Canada Line (ie T, Metro, BART, El...) into downtown. These pictures are in reverse order since I never remember to go backward while uploading.
