Thanksgiving

We spent a quiet Thanksgiving with just the five of us. Our plans changed a few times and each time my motivation to cook lessened and Brian had the brilliant idea that we go eat at Madigan on post. Hmmm, not what I'd envisioned but it turned out to be a really nice time, and a good experience for the kids we thought. The best part was coming home to a clean kitchen and I wondered after what I was thinking with wanting to cook in the first place.

The best part of the day for me was first thing in the morning, being greeted with "Happy Thanksgiving!" by two silly, excited boys, and a little girl all dressed up head to toe in the dress she picked out. They are starting to get it and I love it. So very thankful for our little family and the rest of our family and friends out there. We are lucky!
