My sister Megan came for a visit this weekend. We all fought for her attention. Sam was demanding that she "watch my cool moves" which was him doing some type of dance/jump from coffee table to couch thing that normally doesn't fly around here. Matthew was immersed in his latest obsession, some weird Super Robot boy cartoon. He quotes lines from the show and asks that you be a character and tells you what to say...oh the fun never ends! Megan won Kate's heart by feeding her chips and Bronco Bob bean dip, and all three love her as she was the reason for the 12 inch deep dish apple pie that we had for dessert. (Thanks Boy Scout that was at our doorstep at 9pm last week offering us this deliciousness for only $5!). Anyway, having Megan around was wonderful in many ways, but mainly I feel so grateful just to have her here after what she went through this summer. It was only seven months ago that she had her stroke, and you would never know it. The girl is training for a marathon for crying out loud! Go Megan! We love you!
