Booked

Airfare and cottage are booked for Dublin, look out!  We'll be going with my dad to celebrate his well, a big birthday.  This Irishman has dreamed of this opportunity his entire life and I absolutely can't wait to share it with him.  April is going to be a heck of a month...if it weren't for Italy in March I think I'd be losing my mind with excitement.  I'm pretty sure that's happening anyway, although I can't blame just the excitement.  Not only do we have Ireland in April and our first set of visitors, but our Cub Scout camp will be on the beaches of Normandy.  It's an opportunity beyond explanation.  It happens only once every three years, and if we arrived when we were originally supposed to we would have missed it all together.  Things happen for a reason, karma, God, good luck or just plain good timing...whatever you'd like to call it I don't care, we are just so grateful and so looking forward to the experience.  My dad will be joining us there as well, and for him to say that this means more to him that even the Ireland trip really, really means a lot.  As a Vietnam vet, a World War II buff, a former Scout and very proud American, it's going to be quite moving.
Snapping back to reality here...Brian is in Germany all week and the kiddos are giving me a run for my money.  Particularly one who will remain nameless but who is male and has his Daddy's eyes.  All three were in bed before 8 tonight...it was that kind of day.  All is well that ends well though, right?

Love that you guys are taking advantage of all these amazing opportunities! A lot of people claim to love traveling but don't actually do much of it-- like me!! haha! So I live vicariously through you...
