Visit to the 'Burgh

The kids and I had a fabulous time with Aunt Carolyn, Aunt Alisa, Granpap Larry, Grammy Carole and Great Grammy, and our friends the Wilsons.  They all did a wonderful job entertaining and making us feel at home, to the point we really didn't want to leave.  So lucky to have such good people in our lives, regardless of how far away they are.

No guarantees on the quality of these pictures as they are from the iphone which I think had a dirty lens.  It's so tiny how would one know.  The rest of the pictures are on the point and shoot who's memory card can't be read by the card reader we have for the big boy camera.  It's on the list of things to get before we go all Euro.

Warning...picture overload that may be boring to most readers!

Layover in Chicago.  Thank goodness for the dinosaur.  See the leg bones?
I will add that this was my first time flying solo with all three.  They were awesome!
We made it!  We were welcomed by a famous Steeler and George Washington.  Impressive!

 At the Wilson's.
The kids are wiped out from the time change and the slumber parties but they just keep on moving.

Aunt Carolyn and Aunt Alisa took us to the Pittsburgh Science Center.  Kate got her jump on here!

That was really fun

We spent the day at Idlewild Park with Aunt Carolyn, Aunt Alisa, Grandpap Larry and Grammy Carole, Yvonne and Madison.

I used to hate these things when the kids were little but this time around it was really fun to watch them try to swim through all the plastic on a hot and humid summer day.  Really, ick!  They had a great time so it was all good.

I'm not sure who like this more...me or the kids.  I'm thinking me because nobody would do it again.

We had so much fun during our week in Pittsburgh.  It's a great city with lots to see and do, but of course the Bender side of the family is the main attraction.  Thanks to all for spending time with us!
