Bye Bye Camry...thank you for the six years you spent with us, always there for Brian on those cold, rainy mornings, always ready to zip him to and from work. You made sure he was right on time, never stalling, never wavering. You road tripped from Texas to Virginia, back to Texas and up to Washington. You were even up for a few non-kid weekends when once again the Odyssey stole the show as the much preferred family vehicle. You survived a year away from your main man, (although barely because no fewer than three times we had to jump you due to lack of love and attention from the lady of the house.) You were the understated, overshadowed older vehicle that was more appreciated than you know. You barely cost us a thing, yet you gave so much.
In the end you were a very hot commodity. You didn't last a day on Craig's List. We hope you enjoy your new family as much as we enjoyed you.
Ok, it's a bit much, but selling this car makes this move all the more real. The army will ship one car for free, and the Honda won out. We hope the perfect (as in cheap and reliable) Euro-wagon is waiting for us on the other end. It will be the family-mobile until the Honda arrives and then Brian and I will fight over who gets to drive it. Because I'm a little scared of those skinny roads and parking spaces designed for mopeds.
