Hanging with Daddy

We did a whole lot of nothing when Brian was home and it was great.  No big outings or day trips, just lots of hanging out inside and some snow hikes around town.  The above picture is proof of our laziness...yes, Kate is eating a very healthy lunch (or possibly dinner and no, not so healthy but again, we were lazy) in her pajamas.

Sam posing as "Super Sam".  He loves his superhero get-up and was kind enough to share masks and power wrist bands with his siblings.

The crew.  Footie jammies were all the rage for the kids over the holidays to the point where we had some pretty emotional moments over pajamas.  Kate has about ten pairs all of which are hand-me- downs from the boys.  Sam has one pair he can squeeze into that belonged to Matthew last year.  Matthew had none, hence the meltdown of all meltdowns during r and r (kid meltdown, mine don't count!).  A few days later we made the pilgrimage to Target and we were reminded once again that poor poor oldest child neglected Matthew had NO footies.  So, we check out the jammie selection in his size, nothing to be found.  Two piece pajamas galore, or cool dude sleeping pants and skater like t-shirts, but no pajamas with feet.  I sneak around the corner to find this snazzy little get-up he's wearing in the above picture.  Yes, they are from the girls' department and no, he doesn't realize this.  I figure if his Dad can wear pink footies as a kid Matthew can do the snazzy silver snowflakes on cranberry background.  Oh, and they are space snowflakes on red in case he asks...
And as for the pink pajamas, Brian is still not sure what was going on there if anyone can help out:)
