Pumkins

The kids were pretty excited to carve their pumpkin last night. We only did one (not due to any shortage of pumpkins), it was a joint effort led by Brian. The boys loved the "guts", Kate was a bit freaked out. We toasted the seeds and that was a hit.

On another note, the long awaited Buzz Lightyear costumes finally arrived today. We had two pretty happy boys, who of course had to sport their new suits. Kate then went to the coat closet to get her ladybug. All three ran laps around the house, the boys had "Buzz power" and they told Kate she had Ladybug power. She snapped back, "No, PINK power". Ok.

Hopefully I can keep this blog up (how cool of me, a blog!) The intention is to document those little every day moments from time to time, mainly for Brian and I but I know some of the family out there may be interested as well. With Brian leaving for a year (yes, it's a long way away but I need to make this blog thing a habit!) I thought it would be a great way to keep him in the crazy kid loop.

Now if I can only figure out how to post pictures we'll be in luck!
